Responsibilities
- Plan, manage, and supervise civil maintenance, structural repairs, waterproofing, fit-out, and architectural refurbishment across facility assets.
- Inspect sites and assess structural and architectural defects; produce snag lists and inspection reports.
- Prepare BOQs, cost estimates, pricing models, scopes of work, and material take-offs.
- Use AutoCAD to review, modify, and draft civil schematics, floor plans, structural layouts, and architectural detail drawings.
- Oversee field execution by civil supervisors, tradespeople, and specialist subcontractors, ensuring safety and quality standards.
- Monitor expenditures, material allocations, and timelines against budgets and SLA constraints.
- Ensure compliance with HSE codes, municipal building regulations, and civil defense requirements.
- Liaise with clients, property managers, and external stakeholders on technical inquiries, progress updates, and sign-offs.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of civil engineering experience in facilities management, building maintenance, or renovation/refurbishment projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with mandatory MOHESR attestation.
- Expertise in defect diagnosis, material estimation, BOQ preparation, pricing, and drawing drafting using AutoCAD and MS Office.
- Fluent English is required; Arabic and/or Malayalam proficiency is highly preferred.
- Leadership and contractor management capabilities, including organizing site labor and managing subcontractors.
- Must be based in Abu Dhabi or willing to relocate before joining.
- A valid UAE driving license is preferred.
Pay
- AED 6,000–8,000 per month.
