Estimation Engineer - Facilities Management / MEP

Position overview

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review BOQs, estimates, material take-offs, and commercial tender proposals for civil and MEP works.
• Manage budgets, cost control, variations, LPOs, work orders, and material cost tracking.
• Prepare interim valuations, payment applications, invoices, and final accounts.
• Measure sites and verify completed work against approved drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
• Prepare monthly commercial reports, cost value reconciliations, and cost variance analyses.
• Use ERP/FM software for purchasing, budget tracking, and cost reconciliation.
• Negotiate commercial rates and terms; coordinate with clients and project teams on claims, variations, and contractual queries.
• Maintain measurement sheets and payment documentation; identify savings while ensuring quality and contractual compliance.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of relevant estimation, quantity surveying, or cost-control experience in FM, MEP, building maintenance, or fit-out.
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Quantity Surveying, Estimation Engineering, Building Services, or a related field.
• ERP or FM software experience, including Odoo, Vendercafe, or equivalent; advanced Excel skills.
• Knowledge of BOQs, pricing, variations, contract conditions, subcontractor management, and POMI, NRM, or CESMM.
• English fluency required; Arabic, Hindi, or Malayalam is advantageous.
• Experience requirements list 2 years each in UAE FM, MEP maintenance, and ERP systems, and 3 years in UAE estimation.
• Based in Abu Dhabi or willing to relocate before joining.

Pay

• AED 4,500–6,500 per month.
