The Fleet Supervisor manages daily driver operations, vehicle allocation, delivery transportation, and employee pick-up and drop-off services.
The role aims to ensure safe, timely, and efficient transportation.
Responsibilities
- Supervise drivers handling product deliveries, material transportation, and employee transportation.
- Plan daily routes, delivery schedules, and employee transportation arrangements; monitor attendance, punctuality, performance, and schedule compliance.
- Ensure vehicles are maintained, roadworthy, and available; monitor fuel, vehicle usage, maintenance schedules, and transportation expenses.
- Coordinate with warehouse, production, HR, and other departments for timely deliveries and transportation.
- Maintain vehicle, driver, delivery, and maintenance records; resolve delays, breakdowns, and driver concerns.
- Ensure compliance with traffic regulations, company policies, and safety requirements; report on fleet utilization, driver performance, vehicle condition, and operational issues.
Requirements
- A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Transportation Management, or a related field is advantageous.
- Proven experience in fleet supervision, driver coordination, or transportation operations, including managing drivers for deliveries and employee transportation.
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance scheduling, route planning, and fleet operations; computer skills including MS Excel and fleet tracking or reporting systems.
- Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, leadership, and driver-coordination skills; able to resolve conflicts and make firm decisions under pressure.
- Valid Qatar driving license required. Candidates currently available in Qatar are preferred.
Pay
- Pay is QAR 4,000–7,000 per month.
