Role overview

Responsibilities

• Coordinate equipment allocation, scheduling, dispatch, and collection.
• Monitor equipment availability, location, utilization, maintenance schedules, and operational status.
• Communicate with clients about equipment requirements, rental arrangements, delivery schedules, and operational concerns.
• Apply knowledge of construction equipment and heavy machinery to understand requirements and recommend suitable equipment.
• Coordinate with operators, drivers, technicians, and site personnel for equipment deployment and operations.
• Maintain fleet records, equipment movement logs, rental agreements, and supporting documentation.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on utilization, rental status, downtime, and fleet performance.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs to minimize downtime.
• Monitor rental contract durations, extensions, and equipment return schedules.
• Resolve operational issues and escalate significant concerns to management.
• Liaise with Accounts on rental records, supporting documents, and invoicing requirements.
• Provide regular updates and reports to the General Manager / Managing Director.

Qualifications and requirements

• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant fleet coordination, construction equipment rental, or heavy machinery operations experience.
• Good knowledge of construction machinery, equipment specifications, applications, and operational requirements.
• UAE construction equipment rental industry experience is preferred.
• Strong client communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office for tracking and reporting.
• Ability to multitask, work independently, and manage operational priorities.
• Good written and verbal English communication skills.
• Chinese / Mandarin proficiency is an advantage; a valid UAE driving licence is preferred.
