Position
The NOC Analyst supports a major client and the stability, performance, and security of critical network and telecommunications infrastructure.
The role supports enterprise and operational technology networks in a high-availability environment.
The analyst collaborates with internal teams, field communications groups, service providers, and client stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Monitor, manage, upgrade, install, document, and help design networks and communications systems.
- Support IP networking, MPLS, TCP/IP, MQTT, serial communications, and WAN technologies including LTE/cellular, VSAT, and satellite communications.
- Design, implement, document, and maintain telecommunications systems at tower sites, pipeline facilities, and data centres.
- Monitor network performance and capacity, troubleshoot incidents, and resolve service disruptions.
- Maintain network diagrams, procedures, and technical reports; support Field Communications and client operations.
- Coordinate with OT Field Operations, SCADA Infrastructure, Security, IT Networks, vendors, contractors, and service providers.
- Administer and maintain Nokia and Cisco platforms and support secure, segmented network environments.
- Join an on-call rotation and respond to critical incidents outside business hours when required.
- Contribute to continuous improvement, reliability, efficiency, scalability, and network performance optimization.
Requirements
- Experience supporting medium- to large-scale enterprise networks, troubleshooting complex issues, and maintaining telecommunications systems.
- Post-secondary education in Network Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field from a recognized technical institution.
- Nokia NRS, Cisco CCNA, or CCNP certification, or equivalent practical experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, client-facing interpersonal, organizational, and documentation skills.
