About the Role

The Fire Engineer & Fire Alarm Sales Manager will be responsible for driving both the technical and commercial success of the company's Fire Alarm and Fire Fighting division.

The role combines fire protection engineering expertise with business development, sales, project acquisition, and client relationship management.

The successful candidate will be responsible for generating revenue, securing new projects, building strategic partnerships, supporting technical operations, and creating long-term value for the company.

The role requires a strong understanding of Fire Alarm and Fire Fighting systems, local authority requirements, and the ability to develop business opportunities within the Qatar market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate new business opportunities and secure Fire Alarm, Fire Fighting, AMC, and service contracts.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with consultants, contractors, developers, facility management companies, government entities, and project stakeholders.
  • Prepare and present technical and commercial proposals, quotations, tenders, and BOQs.
  • Identify project opportunities and manage the sales cycle from lead generation to project award.
  • Design, review, and support Fire Alarm and Fire Fighting systems in accordance with QCDD and NFPA requirements.
  • Coordinate authority approvals, inspections, testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
  • Conduct site surveys, technical assessments, and client consultations.
  • Support project execution teams to ensure successful delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
  • Achieve sales targets, revenue growth objectives, and profitability goals.
  • Provide technical guidance on Fire Alarm Systems, Fire Fighting Systems, Fire Pumps, Sprinklers, Suppression Systems, and Life Safety Solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (Mandatory).
  • Minimum 5–10 years of experience in Fire Alarm, Fire Fighting, Fire Protection Systems, and Technical Sales.
  • Mandatory UPDA/MMUP Electrical Engineering Classification (Grade A, B, or C).
  • Mandatory QCDD Fire Alarm Engineer Certification.
  • Strong knowledge of NFPA Standards, Qatar Civil Defence requirements, and local authority approval procedures.
  • Proven experience in Fire Alarm Systems, Fire Fighting Systems, Fire Pumps, Sprinkler Systems, Suppression Systems, Testing & Commissioning, and Maintenance.
  • Demonstrated success in business development, project acquisition, tendering, and revenue generation.
  • Strong network with consultants, contractors, developers, facility management companies, and project stakeholders in Qatar.
  • Experience preparing technical proposals, estimates, tenders, and commercial offers.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Valid Qatar Driving License required.
