Responsibilities
- Oversee financial statements, departmental P&Ls, and monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, ensuring accuracy and UAE accounting compliance.
- Manage hotel budgeting and forecasting, including revenue projections based on occupancy, ADR, and RevPAR.
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and performance across revenue and cost centers; identify cost and efficiency opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with UAE tax, VAT, labor law, auditing standards, and hotel financial policies and controls.
- Advise senior management and department heads using financial analysis, industry trends, and competitive benchmarking.
- Supervise and develop the finance team, establish internal controls, and foster financial accountability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- ACCA, CPA, or CMA qualification is an advantage.
- 5–7 years in a hotel Financial Controller or senior finance management role is preferred.
- Strong hotel accounting, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cost-control knowledge.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial/accounting systems; hotel finance system experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of UAE financial regulations, VAT, tax requirements, and accounting standards.
- Analytical, problem-solving, communication, interpersonal, leadership, and team-management skills.
- Integrity, attention to detail, confidentiality, and commitment to financial controls and compliance.
