The position is full time, non-management, and not remote.
Financial responsibilities
- Check figures, postings, and documents for accuracy; organize and maintain files, records, cash, and cash equivalents under company procedures.
- Record, access, and analyze computerized financial information and classify, code, and summarize data for financial records.
- Prepare, maintain, audit, and distribute statistical, financial, accounting, auditing, or payroll reports and tables.
- Complete period-end closing procedures and reports.
- Prepare, review, reconcile, and issue bills, invoices, and account statements.
- Follow up on overdue accounts and vendor invoices until payment is received or the matter is resolved.
Team and workplace duties
- Coordinate tasks with other departments, serve as a role model or mentor, and assign work to ensure timely completion and quality standards.
- Report work-related accidents or injuries immediately and follow company policies and procedures.
- Maintain a clean, professional appearance; protect confidential information and company assets; communicate professionally.
- Prepare and review written documents accurately, answer telephones appropriately, and build positive working relationships.
- Perform other reasonable duties requested by supervisors; move or handle objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
Preferred qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
- At least 1 year of related work experience is preferred.
- No supervisory experience is specified as required; no license or certification is listed.
