Accounting and financial records
- Check figures, postings, and documents for accuracy; maintain files, records, cash, and cash equivalents securely.
- Record and analyze computerized financial information and compile financial records using journals, ledgers, or computers.
- Prepare, maintain, audit, and distribute statistical, financial, accounting, auditing, or payroll reports and tables.
- Complete period-end closing procedures and reports.
- Prepare, review, reconcile, and issue bills, invoices, and account statements; follow up on overdue accounts and vendor invoices through payment or resolution.
Coordination and workplace conduct
- Coordinate tasks across departments, model effective work practices, assign tasks, and ensure work is timely and meets quality standards.
- Report work-related accidents or injuries promptly; follow company policies and protect confidential information and company assets.
- Maintain a clean, professional appearance; communicate clearly and professionally, prepare accurate written documents, and use appropriate telephone etiquette.
- Build positive working relationships, support shared team goals, and listen and respond to colleagues' concerns.
- Handle objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance and perform other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors.
Preferred qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- At least one year of related work experience is preferred.
- No supervisory experience is listed as required; no license or certification is listed.
