Accounting and financial records
- Check figures, postings, and documents for accuracy; organize and maintain files, records, cash, and cash equivalents.
- Record, store, access, analyze, classify, code, and summarize financial information using journals, ledgers, or computers.
- Prepare, maintain, audit, and distribute statistical, financial, accounting, auditing, or payroll reports and tables.
- Complete period-end closing procedures and reports.
- Prepare, review, reconcile, and issue bills, invoices, and account statements.
- Follow up on overdue accounts and vendor invoices until payment in full is received or the matter is resolved.
Coordination and workplace conduct
- Coordinate tasks with other departments, serve as a departmental role model or mentor, and ensure work is completed on time and to quality standards.
- Follow company policies, protect confidential information and company assets, and maintain a clean, professional appearance.
- Communicate clearly and professionally, prepare and review written documents accurately, and answer telephones with appropriate etiquette.
- Report work-related accidents or injuries immediately and perform other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors.
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
Preferred qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
- At least 1 year of related work experience is preferred.
- No supervisory experience is specified; no license or certification is listed.
