Overview
Gables Pool Construction is a leading company specializing in the design, construction, and maintenance of residential and commercial swimming pools across Qatar.
We are looking for a detail-oriented, organized, and trustworthy Finance & Accounts Officer to join our team in Doha.
You will be responsible for managing daily financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and supporting our growing operations.
What You'll Do
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Prepare and maintain financial records, ledgers, and invoices.
- Reconcile bank statements and company credit cards.
- Assist with payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Coordinate with external auditors and accountants for year-end closing.
- Monitor project budgets and track expenses for construction projects.
- Ensure compliance with Qatar financial regulations and tax laws.
- Support management with financial analysis and forecasting.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a finance or accounting role.
- **Good communication skills in English (spoken and written).** Knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Tally, or SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Valid QID (Qatar ID) and NOC (No Objection Certificate) preferred.
- Knowledge of Qatar tax and financial regulations.
- Nice to Have:
- Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent).
- Experience in the construction or engineering industry.
- Knowledge of project-based accounting and cost tracking.
- Experience with ERP systems.
