Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Remittance Finance Officer to join our team in Doha. As a key player in the finance department, you will be responsible for managing remittance transactions, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations, and supporting the financial operations of the company. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a strong background in finance and remittance services who is eager to contribute to a fast-growing company.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and process remittance transactions, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Perform reconciliations of remittance accounts and promptly address any discrepancies.
• Assist in the development and implementation of remittance policies and procedures.
• Generate and present regular financial reports to senior management, highlighting transaction volumes, trends, and risk assessments.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest financial regulations and market trends related to remittance services.
• Offer exceptional customer service, addressing client inquiries and providing guidance on remittance products and services.
• Work closely with other departments to streamline financial processes and enhance overall operational efficiency.
• Monitor transaction risks and mitigate issues related to fraud or financial compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in finance, remittance, or banking services.
• Strong understanding of remittance operations and financial regulations in Qatar and the broader MENA region.
• Proficient in financial software applications and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with clients and internal teams.
• Fluency in English (Arabic language skills are a plus).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
