Overview

Comores Quiz is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented **Senior Trade Finance Officer** to join our finance team in Doha, Qatar.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing trade finance operations, supporting import/export transactions, coordinating with banks, and ensuring smooth execution of international trade documentation and payments.

This role is ideal for a finance professional with strong expertise in trade finance instruments and a solid understanding of global trade processes who can operate effectively in a fast-paced, international business environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle end-to-end trade finance transactions including letters of credit (LCs), bank guarantees, and documentary collections
  • Coordinate with banks for trade finance facilities, approvals, and settlements
  • Review and process import/export documentation including invoices, shipping documents, and contracts
  • Ensure timely execution of trade payments and financing arrangements
  • Monitor foreign exchange exposure and support risk mitigation activities
  • Maintain accurate records of trade transactions and financial documentation
  • Liaise with procurement, logistics, and sales teams to support trade operations
  • Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, banking requirements, and company policies
  • Prepare trade finance reports, transaction summaries, and exposure analysis
  • Support audits by providing complete and accurate trade finance documentation

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • Minimum 4–6 years of experience in trade finance or banking operations
  • Strong knowledge of trade finance instruments (LCs, SBLCs, guarantees, collections)
  • Experience working with banks and international trade processes
  • Familiarity with import/export documentation and customs procedures
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial reporting skills
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, international business environment
