Finance leadership role at FIVE Hotels and Resorts in an international luxury hospitality environment.
Qualifications and experience
- At least 5 years of finance experience in an international luxury hotel environment.
- A degree in finance or a related field is preferred; professional qualifications such as ACCA or CIMA are also mentioned as preferred.
- Fluency in English and strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
- Proven ability to achieve financial targets, manage budgets, and control costs without compromising quality or service.
- Flexible working hours may be required across Dubai and the USA; willingness to travel to New York as business needs require.
- The posting also seeks teamwork, collaboration, a proactive and meticulous approach, and a hands-on attitude.
Responsibilities
- Produce accurate, timely month-end closing reports and other management reports.
- Maintain accurate balance sheets and review reconciliations.
- Prepare capital reviews for the Financial Controller.
- Support forecasting and budgeting proposals with the Financial Controller.
- Develop and implement financial accounting and control procedures and improve processes.
- Comply with company policies and procedures and support Finance Balanced Scorecard performance.
- Hold monthly finance update meetings with the Financial Controller.
- Provide department heads with tailored financial information to improve financial awareness and operations.
