The Finance Manager oversees financial management operations and strategic financial planning in the automotive business.
The role aims to support compliance and profitability across the company's brands.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee financial planning, analysis, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and cost control.
- Lead corporate tax compliance and engage consultants on regulatory compliance.
- Manage the finance team and day-to-day accounting functions.
- Ensure timely external audits and financial statements based on IFRS.
- Analyze monthly performance variances and report findings to senior management.
- Develop and monitor annual and monthly budgets, operating budgets, and cash flow statements.
- Assess financial and operational risks and recommend mitigation measures.
- Develop and implement financial policies, controls, and procedures to safeguard company assets.
- Liaise with auditors, banks, and external parties on compliance and favorable terms.
- Lead VAT compliance and coordinate with consultants on process improvements.
Requirements
- University degree in finance, accounting, commerce, or a related field.
- 10–15 years of finance experience; automotive experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office, SAP, and Oracle.
- Fluency in English is essential; Arabic is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical thinking, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Professional qualifications
- Professional certifications such as ACCA, CPA, CA, IFRS compliance, or CMA are listed.
