Role Description
This is a part-time remote role for a Facilities Manager.
The Facilities Manager will oversee the efficient operation and maintenance of facilities, ensuring optimal functionality and compliance with safety protocols.
Responsibilities
include supervising maintenance tasks, coordinating with external vendors, conducting inspections, and managing budgets for facility-related projects.
The ideal candidate will implement preventative upkeep programs, troubleshoot facility issues, and ensure timely repairs while focusing on creating an efficient and safe workspace.
Qualifications
- Facility management expertise, including planning, operational oversight, and maintenance coordination
- Experience in vendor management, budgeting, cost control, and procurement for facility-related projects
- Knowledge of safety compliance standards, building codes, and regulatory requirements
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and project management skills
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities to manage maintenance teams and collaborate with stakeholders
- Proficiency in facility management software and tools
- Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
- Certifications such as FMP (Facility Management Professional) or CFM (Certified Facility Manager) are a plus
