Role overview
Oversee day-to-day operations, maintenance and safety of commercial facilities in Dubai.
Responsibilities
- Oversee building maintenance, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, elevators and fire safety systems.
- Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Manage FM contractors, technicians, cleaning teams and other service providers.
- Handle tenant complaints, maintenance requests and service-related issues.
- Conduct regular facility inspections and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Maintain maintenance records, work orders, asset registers and operational reports.
- Monitor contractor performance, service-level agreements and maintenance costs.
Requirements
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of relevant facilities management experience.
- Good knowledge of MEP systems, building maintenance and health and safety procedures.
- Experience in contractor coordination and tenant relationship management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; CAFM/CMMS knowledge is an advantage.
- Strong communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
