The Contract Specialist supports contractual and commercial management of construction and civil engineering projects.
The role seeks experience in contract administration, contract review, and risk management within the UAE construction industry.
Location and workplace
- The stated work location is in person in the United Arab Emirates.
Key responsibilities
- Draft, review, and manage contracts for construction, infrastructure, and engineering projects.
- Ensure contract documents comply with UAE regulations, company policies, and project requirements.
- Support contract lifecycle management, including amendments, extensions, and renewals.
- Identify and mitigate risks relating to delays, disputes, and penalties.
- Administer contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers; assist with claims, variations, and dispute resolution.
- Monitor payment terms, milestones, liquidated damages, and contractual obligations.
- Maintain contract, correspondence, variation, and claim records; coordinate compliance with legal, commercial, and project teams.
Qualifications and requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Law, or a related field.
- 7–10 years of contract management or contract administration experience, including at least 5 years in the UAE construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts, construction claims, and contract law.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills; ability to manage multiple contracts and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in MS Office and contract management systems is preferred.
Compensation and employment
- Full-time position.
- Pay is AED 6,000–10,000 per month.
