Position Summary
Support food and beverage service for banquet functions, restaurants, and coffee breaks.
Coordinate service needs, guest requests, event readiness, and payment checks.
Responsibilities
- Communicate service needs to chefs and stewards throughout functions.
- Total group-function charges and present checks to group contacts for payment.
- Prepare banquet rooms, restaurants, and coffee-break areas for service.
- Arrange centerpieces and set tables according to event type and service standards.
- Inspect china, glassware, and silverware for cleanliness and presentation.
- Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction.
- Communicate meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen.
- Maintain clean work areas throughout the day.
- Follow safety and security policies, report accidents and unsafe conditions, and complete safety training.
- Welcome guests, communicate professionally, support colleagues, protect company assets, and meet quality standards.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is listed as a preferred qualification.
- At least 2 years of related work experience is listed as a preferred qualification.
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience is listed as a preferred qualification.
- No license or certification is required according to the posting.
