Operational and guest service duties
- Coordinate staff teamwork to meet guest needs and deliver optimum service; monitor dining room seating, service, safety, and guest well-being.
- Inspect staff grooming and attire; complete opening and closing duties, prepare supplies, clean equipment and areas, and secure doors.
- Maintain organized, clean storage using FIFO; complete inventories and requisition supplies.
- Complete maintenance work orders and follow company, safety, and security policies; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions.
- Welcome and acknowledge guests, anticipate and address service needs, assist guests with disabilities, and thank guests.
- Uphold quality standards and implement improvements to efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, or cost savings.
Employee support and standards
- Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees.
- Act as a role model and point of contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy process.
- Maintain professional appearance, protect confidential information and company assets, and build positive working relationships.
Preferred qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- At least 2 years of related work experience.
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
- The posting lists no license or certification.
Physical and work conditions
Duties can involve standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods; lifting or moving objects up to 50 pounds; and using fine motor skills.
Work may involve narrow, confined, or elevated spaces, stairs or ramps, and bending, twisting, pulling, stooping, or reaching.
