Overview

HSE Management and Compliance

• Develop, implement, and maintain integrated HSE management systems aligned with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001.
• Ensure compliance with UAE labor laws, occupational safety requirements, Civil Aviation regulations, and JAFZA and DP World HSE standards.
• Lead internal, external, and certification audits and maintain HSE documentation, policies, procedures, and records.

Operational Safety and Risk Management

• Conduct risk assessments and Job Safety Analyses for warehousing, cargo handling, freight forwarding, transportation, and logistics operations.
• Ensure safe handling of dangerous goods in compliance with IATA and IMDG regulations.
• Monitor workplace, contractor, and vendor safety compliance.

Incident Management and Training

• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, perform root cause analysis, and prepare detailed reports.
• Implement, track, and close corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence and improve safety performance.
• Design and deliver HSE inductions, toolbox talks, and safety training covering fire safety, emergency response, manual handling, PPE, and hazard identification.
• Maintain mandatory certification and training records.

Emergency and Environmental Management

• Develop and maintain Emergency Response Plans and coordinate fire drills and evacuation exercises.
• Liaise with Civil Defence, Dubai Municipality, and JAFZA on emergency preparedness.
• Implement waste reduction, waste disposal, energy efficiency, and sustainability initiatives in line with UAE environmental regulations.

Multi-Site Performance Management

• Oversee HSE compliance across the Dubai Head Office, Cargo Village operations, and Jebel Ali Free Zone warehouses.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits and coordinate with site supervisors and operations teams.
• Maintain HSE dashboards and KPIs such as LTIFR, TRIR, and incident statistics.
• Prepare management reports, maintain ISO document control, and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent degree in any field.
• 5 to 6 years of experience in freight forwarding, transportation, delivery operations, field supervision, warehousing, or logistics operations.
• At least 2 to 3 years supervising field executives, delivery teams, transport vendors, or customer-site operations.
• Industry exposure to freight forwarding, airfreight, last-mile delivery, white-glove delivery, warehousing, project logistics, or high-value cargo operations.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Knowledge of HSE management system implementation and regulatory compliance management.
• Knowledge of health, safety, environmental, and quality management system administration.
• Knowledge of risk assessment, hazard identification, and operational safety management.
• Knowledge of incident investigation and root cause analysis.
