Role Overview
The Operations Executive oversees and improves daily operations for efficiency, consistency, and alignment with organizational goals.
The role involves vendor management, client and team coordination, and resolution of operational challenges.
Digital Ordering and Coordination
- Promote the SmartQ Ordering App and explain its benefits and offers.
- Guide users in downloading and using the app, including placing orders and making digital-wallet payments.
- Coordinate menu updates with food partners and the technology team.
- Ensure timely push notifications and banner updates.
Service and Compliance
- Conduct cafe hygiene checks and hourly governance reviews.
- Address issues and report incidents, accidents, and near misses.
- Collect feedback from employees and clients at cafeterias.
- Ensure displays, counters, and service areas comply with company and statutory requirements.
- Monitor cafeteria counters for adherence to Standard Operating Procedures.
Safety and Records
- Inspect work areas during and after operations and ensure proper waste disposal.
- Maintain HSE records and temperature logs and report deviations.
- Ensure equipment is used according to Equipment Safety Work Procedures.
- Report equipment downtime to the appropriate departments.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of relevant experience is required.
- A graduate or diploma qualification in Hotel Management is required.
- Strong communication skills in English and the local language are required.
- Basic computer skills and willingness to learn are required.
- Applicants should demonstrate honesty, integrity, self-motivation, initiative, and flexibility.
- Applicants should be able to guide and manage food-partner staff.
