The Event Lead hosts events at Boo Boo Laand and conducts games and activities for children.
The role reports to the Event Manager, Venue Manager, Duty Manager, or Team Leaders.
Event planning and delivery
- Plan and execute parties, school trips, camps, and other events.
- Host events and keep children and parents entertained during birthday parties.
- Manage events end to end with team members, including cake cutting, birthday songs, games, and activities.
- Keep celebrations running smoothly and ensure guests enjoy the experience.
- Oversee and assist with event decorations; follow party and event timelines.
- Coordinate with Event and Sales Associates and Hosts to deliver successful events.
- Facilitate daily free activities and suggest ideas for decorations, games, and activities.
Customer service and other duties
- Provide excellent customer service and manage customer conflicts and queries.
- Ensure health and safety measures are followed during celebrations.
- Contribute to store tasks when no events are scheduled, as assigned by the Manager.
- Participate in required internal and external training.
- Dress for party themes, dance, and appear as a mascot when needed; remain well-groomed and presentable.
Qualifications and experience
- Secondary or high school qualification.
- At least two years of experience in a service or entertainment establishment.
- Be able to interact with children, keep them entertained, and confidently engage an audience.
Pay
- AED 3,500 per month.
