Estimation Manager – Aluminum & Façade

Role overview

Estimation and tendering

• Lead detailed cost estimates for aluminum, façade, curtain wall, glazing, cladding, windows, and doors systems.
• Analyze tender documents, drawings, specifications, and BOQs to determine material, labor, and resource needs.
• Prepare competitive, compliant tender submissions on time and identify commercial and technical bid risks.

Cost and commercial management

• Analyze direct, indirect, overhead, and contingency costs; identify savings and propose value engineering solutions.
• Evaluate tender risks, discrepancies, and commercial impacts, ensuring bid accuracy and profitability.
• Support pricing and bid decisions, post-tender negotiations, and contract finalization.

Coordination and leadership

• Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations and maintain current material prices, labor rates, and historical cost data.
• Coordinate with sales, design, engineering, and procurement to align estimates with technical feasibility and project execution.
• Manage and mentor estimators and quantity surveyors; standardize tools and processes and improve accuracy, efficiency, and turnaround time.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 10–15 years of aluminum and façade estimation experience within the UAE/GCC, including at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of curtain wall, structural glazing, cladding, and aluminum systems and GCC pricing, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation software such as CCS, Candy, PlanSwift, or equivalent.
• Strong analytical, commercial, decision-making, leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred experience

• Experience with large-scale commercial, high-rise, hospitality, or infrastructure projects, GCC façade contractors, or government and mega-project tenders is preferred.

Compensation and benefits

• Monthly pay is listed as AED 12,000–16,000.
