ERP Test Manager

About the Role

Testing Strategy & Quality Governance

• Develop and implement enterprise-wide testing strategies, frameworks, methodologies, and governance processes.
• Define testing standards, quality metrics, acceptance criteria, and reporting mechanisms.
• Ensure end-to-end traceability between business requirements, test scenarios, execution results, and defect resolution.
• Establish quality assurance controls aligned with organizational and regulatory standards.

Test Planning & Execution

• Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of all testing phases, including functional, integration, regression, performance, security, and automation testing.
• Review and approve test plans, test cases, test scripts, and execution reports.
• Manage defect lifecycle processes, including identification, prioritization, root cause analysis, and resolution tracking.
• Ensure testing activities are delivered on schedule while maintaining quality and risk management standards.

Test Automation & Tools Management

• Manage and optimize the use of Jira and Xray Test Management tools for planning, execution, reporting, and traceability.
• Leverage existing automation frameworks and recommend enhancements where appropriate.
• Support integration of automation tools such as Selenium, Oracle Test Manager, or equivalent platforms within CI/CD environments.
• Monitor testing KPIs, quality metrics, risks, and release readiness indicators.

Stakeholder Engagement & UAT Management

• Collaborate with business leaders, project managers, functional teams, and system integrators to define testing objectives and success criteria.
• Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) planning, execution, issue resolution, and business sign-off activities.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and guidance to testing teams while driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.

Experience

• Minimum 10 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
• At least 7 years of ERP testing experience.
• Minimum 3 years managing Oracle Fusion ERP testing programs or large-scale ERP implementation testing cycles.
• Proven experience across Oracle Fusion Finance, Human Capital Management (HCM), and Procurement modules.
• Strong experience in both manual and automated testing methodologies.
