Maintenance and life safety
- Install and maintain equipment, perform preventive maintenance, recommend replacements, and calibrate controls and meters.
- Inspect tools, equipment, and machines; operate shut-off valves and power lifts; maintain inventory and purchase-order records.
- Complete life-safety checks, including fire-pump and generator tests, and inspect fire sprinkler valves and alarm systems.
- Assist in developing disaster response protocols and attend to guest repair requests.
Team and guest service
- Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluation, counseling, and coaching employees.
- Follow safety and security policies, report hazards and maintenance problems, and complete safety training.
- Welcome and assist guests, communicate professionally, and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues.
- Identify and implement improvements to efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, or cost savings.
Preferred qualifications
- Technical, trade, or vocational school degree preferred.
- At least 2 years of related work experience preferred.
- At least 2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
- No license or certification is specified.
Physical demands
The work may involve lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds, reaching, bending, twisting, standing, walking, and moving on stairs or service ramps.
