HVAC Engineer Technician in the Engineering & Facilities category at The Ritz-Carlton, Doha.

Systems maintenance
- Inspect, repair, and maintain HVAC, air quality control, and refrigeration equipment.
- Maintain and conduct daily inspections of the mechanical plant; monitor and control property temperature.
- Monitor and analyze energy and utilities usage; calibrate controls, gauges, meters, and other equipment.
- Assemble, install, test, repair, and maintain electrical systems or electronic wiring.
- Assemble, install, and maintain pipe assemblies, fittings, and valves; perform routine pool and spa maintenance.
Safety, service, and physical duties
- Follow safety and security policies, report maintenance problems and hazards, and complete safety training and certifications.
- Maintain professional appearance, protect confidential information and company assets, and respond to guest service needs.
- Communicate professionally, maintain positive working relationships, and meet quality standards.
- Identify and implement improvements to efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, or cost savings.
- Work in confined or elevated spaces and on uneven or slippery surfaces; use stairs, service ramps, or ladders.
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects, including objects over 100 pounds with assistance and up to 50 pounds without assistance.
Required qualifications
- EPA Universal Certification.
- Driver's license.
- HVAC certification.
Preferred qualifications
- Technical, trade, or vocational school degree.
- At least 3 years of related work experience.
