Under the Repair and Maintenance Engineer's guidance, operate, maintain, and repair hotel systems to support efficient equipment operation.
Maintenance duties
- Maintain and repair electrical equipment including laundry and kitchen equipment, HVAC equipment, motors, fans, treatment plants, and emergency generators.
- Repair and maintain transformers and electrical low-tension panels.
- Maintain electrical and ancillary installations including audio/video cables, computer cables, and MATV systems.
- Perform repair and maintenance throughout hotel premises and maintained properties, including extensions.
- Respond to guest maintenance requests within 15 minutes of receipt.
- Carry out planned preventive maintenance and other assigned related duties or projects.
Safety and hotel operations
- Keep plant rooms and workshops clean and orderly, and maintain a clean uniform and appearance.
- Observe safety standards and help maintain safe conditions for self and others.
- Follow hotel rules, grooming and attendance policies, and health, hygiene, fire life safety, security, and emergency procedures.
- Log security incidents, accidents, and near misses promptly and notify the line manager.
- Participate in training and perform manager-assigned tasks supporting business goals.
Experience
- At least 1 year of experience working as an electrician in a hotel is required.
Workplace
- Work location is in person at the hotel.
