Assist guests with luggage, inquiries, requests, and errands to support their comfort and satisfaction.
Provide attentive service, take ownership of guest needs, and work seamlessly with hotel colleagues.
Guest service and operations
- Handle guest luggage to and from rooms, the airport, and vehicles; assist with heavy packages.
- Welcome guests, greet them courteously, and assist with car and taxi doors.
- Follow baggage procedures during check-in and check-out and escort guests to their rooms.
- Guide guests through check-in and coordinate with the Front Desk Clerk.
- Provide information about hotel facilities and services and assist with guest requests.
- Arrange transport, coordinate luggage, and manage the key system securely.
- Keep the Porte Cochere, driveway, lobby, and baggage room clean and orderly.
- Deliver newspapers to rooms as assigned and operate communications equipment.
- Attend to complaints and refer unresolved matters to a supervisor or Assistant Manager.
- Use the duty log and promptly report security incidents, accidents, and near misses.
- Help colleagues and perform other tasks directed by the Manager.
Experience and standards
- At least 1 year of concierge experience.
- Follow hotel rules, attendance policies, company conduct standards, and grooming requirements.
- Understand and follow health, hygiene, fire-life-safety, emergency, and evacuation procedures.
- Participate in training and development programs.
Compensation
