Experienced Electrical/MEP Draftsman sought for MEP projects in Al Quoz, Dubai.
The role prepares detailed engineering and shop drawings across electrical, HVAC, fire, plumbing, ELV, and fire alarm systems.
Responsibilities
- Prepare MEP shop, installation, coordination, and as-built drawings.
- Prepare electrical drawings for lighting, power, single-line diagrams, and related systems.
- Prepare and coordinate HVAC, fire fighting, water supply, and drainage drawings, plus ELV and fire alarm drawings.
- Coordinate MEP drawings with architectural, structural, and other services drawings.
- Check drawings for accuracy, dimensions, specifications, and site requirements; revise them to address consultant and authority comments.
- Coordinate with engineers, consultants, contractors, and site teams.
- Prepare final as-built drawings based on site conditions and approved changes and ensure compliance with project specifications and UAE standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, MEP Engineering, or related field; degree must be attested.
- Minimum 8–10 years of UAE experience as an Electrical/MEP Draftsman and strong MEP construction experience.
- Proven experience with electrical, HVAC, fire fighting, water supply and drainage, ELV, and fire alarm drawings.
- Excellent AutoCAD and MEP drafting knowledge; ability to interpret engineering drawings and project specifications.
- Good knowledge of UAE construction practices and authority requirements; strong coordination and communication skills.
- Relevant UAE project experience is preferred.
- Experience section lists 6 years for Electrical/MEP drafting and MEP shop, coordination, and installation drawings, and 7 years for AutoCAD MEP drafting and HVAC, fire fighting, water supply, and drainage drawings.
Compensation
- Pay is listed as AED 8,000–12,000 per month; structured salary states AED 8,000/month.

- Work location is in person in Al Quoz, Dubai.
