Technical Engineer – Waterproofing & Construction Materials

Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Prepare technical submittals, material approval documents, product data sheets, and compliance statements.
• Obtain technical documents, product specifications, samples, certificates, and approvals from manufacturers and suppliers.
• Review project specifications and consultant requirements to confirm materials meet required standards.
• Prepare and maintain method statements, material records, and submission packages.
• Follow up with project stakeholders on technical queries, approvals, and pending submissions.
• Assess product suitability and recommend materials in coordination with manufacturers.
• Maintain records of submissions, revisions, approvals, and product documentation.
• Provide technical clarification and documentation support; coordinate samples, demonstrations, and product information.
• Keep current with waterproofing systems, construction chemicals, product standards, and manufacturer recommendations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• 3–4 years of relevant technical engineering experience, preferably in waterproofing, construction chemicals, building materials, or construction products.
• Practical experience preparing construction technical submittals and material approval documents.
• Good understanding of product data sheets, method statements, material specifications, and compliance documentation.
• Experience coordinating with manufacturers, suppliers, consultants, and contractors.
• Strong communication, follow-up, documentation, and organizational skills.
• Microsoft Office proficiency; AutoCAD knowledge is an advantage.
• Valid UAE driving licence; candidates already based in the UAE with relevant industry experience are preferred.

Compensation

• Pay is AED 7,000–8,000 per month.

Workplace

• Work location is in person.
