E-Commerce Manager

About This Role

A company operating in the trade sector is seeking to recruit a qualified and experienced E-Commerce Manager to lead and develop its digital operations and drive its online growth.

Job Objective

To lead and develop the company’s e-commerce operations by managing digital platforms, enhancing customer experience, increasing online sales, and driving sustainable growth in alignment with the company’s strategic and commercial objectives.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the e-commerce strategy aligned with business goals.

• Define growth plans and drive revenue across digital channels.

• Analyze market trends and competitors to identify opportunities and risks.

• Build and maintain a digital roadmap for continuous improvement and expansion.

• Oversee the operation of the online store (Website / App / Marketplaces).

• Ensure products, pricing, and content are regularly updated and optimized.

• Enhance user experience (UX/UI) and improve conversion rates.

• Manage integrations (ERP systems, payment gateways, shipping providers).

• Manage digital marketing campaigns (Google, Social Media, Email Marketing).

• Optimize SEO and execute SEM strategies.

• Monitor marketing performance and maximize ROI.

• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop campaigns and promotions.

• Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), including:

• Conversion Rate

• Average Order Value (AOV)

• Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC)

• Bounce Rate

• Prepare regular reports for senior management.

• Utilize analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Power BI.

• Coordinate with inventory and warehouse teams to ensure product availability.

• Monitor shipping and delivery performance and improve turnaround time.

• Handle returns and customer issues efficiently.

• Lead and manage the e-commerce team (marketing, content, technical support).

• Set objectives, evaluate performance, and develop team capabilities.

• Provide training on best digital practices.

• Improve customer journey across all touchpoints.

• Monitor customer satisfaction and resolve feedback and complaints.

• Develop loyalty programs and increase customer retention.

Qualifications

: Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Professional certifications in e-commerce or digital marketing are preferred.

: Experience

• Minimum of 5–8 years of experience in e-commerce or digital marketing.
• Proven experience in managing online stores and digital platforms.

: Skills

• Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
• Deep understanding of e-commerce and digital consumer behavior.
• Leadership and team management skills.
• Project management and ability to work under pressure.
• Knowledge of ERP systems and e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento).
