E-Commerce Manager

About This Role

We are launching an online gourmet and grocery store in the UAE. The catalogue is wide, sourced locally and internationally, and the logistics are managed in-house. The foundation is Shopify. What we need now is the person who turns all of that into a business that actually performs.

This is not a marketing role with an e-commerce label on it. You will own the P&L. Revenue, margin, spend - all of it sits with you. You will run growth and operations under one roof, because in a launch-stage business, those two things cannot live in separate rooms. If you have only ever owned a channel or a campaign but never the commercial outcome behind it, we may not be the right fit.

You should be the kind of person who builds the paid and unpaid media strategy and also knows why a product page is not converting. Someone who can set pricing logic, manage fulfilment, and still think clearly about customer lifetime value.

We need a leader who gets their hands dirty and does the work.

What you will own

• Full P&L: revenue targets, margins, and spend efficiency
• Growth: paid acquisition, SEO, on-site conversion, retention, and LTV.
• Catalogue and merchandising: what we sell, how it is presented, and how it is priced.
• Daily commercial performance and the decisions that follow from it.
• Order management and fulfilment operations.
• Building and leading the team as the business scales

What we are looking for

• You have scaled a Shopify store and can point to the numbers, not just the experience.
• You have owned a P&L or been directly accountable for one, not adjacent to it.
• You have run paid campaigns yourself and know what worked, what the return looked like, and what you cut.
• You understand e-commerce operations end to end - from catalogue structure through to the last mile.
• You think in revenue, margin, and lifetime value, not in traffic and tasks.
• You can lead a team and still get into the detail when it matters.

Experience in food, grocery, or FMCG is a plus. It is not a requirement.
