The Duty Engineer maintains hotel mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems and supports technical operations.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems.
- Troubleshoot faults and equipment failures; perform preventive maintenance.
- Respond to alarms and safety emergencies according to protocols.
- Keep equipment, maintenance, and incident records.
- Coordinate with departments and ensure compliance with safety rules and standards.
- Support installation, commissioning, and testing of new equipment or systems.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or relevant Engineering field.
- Relevant technical certifications, such as HVAC, electrical safety, or mechanical maintenance.
- Proven engineering systems maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair experience.
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems knowledge; health and safety compliance knowledge.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills; ability to work independently and handle emergencies calmly.
- Communication and teamwork skills; computer literacy for reports and maintenance management systems.
