Accounting and reporting
- Check figures, postings, and documents for accuracy, and maintain secure files, records, cash, and cash equivalents.
- Record and analyze computerized financial information; classify, code, and summarize financial data.
- Prepare, maintain, audit, and distribute financial, accounting, statistical, auditing, or payroll reports and tables.
- Complete period-end closing procedures and reports.
- Prepare, review, reconcile, and issue bills, invoices, and account statements.
- Follow up on overdue accounts and vendor invoices until payment is received or issues are resolved.
Coordination and workplace duties
- Coordinate work with other departments, mentor or model expected conduct, and assign tasks to ensure timely completion and appropriate quality.
- Report work-related accidents or injuries promptly and follow company policies and procedures.
- Maintain professional appearance, protect proprietary information and company assets, and communicate professionally.
- Prepare and review written documents accurately, answer telephones appropriately, and support positive working relationships.
- The role involves moving objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
Preferred qualifications
- At least one year of related work experience is preferred.
- A high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
