Door Attendant position based at Park Rotana and Park Arjaan Hotel Abu Dhabi.
The role provides professional, customer-focused service and helps ensure memorable guest visits.
Key responsibilities
- Provide friendly, warm, professional, and engaging service to hotel guests.
- Greet arriving guests warmly and appropriately.
- Open vehicle doors and escort arriving and departing guests to the lobby.
- Control guest car keys and deliver vehicles within 10 minutes upon request.
- Escalate guest complaints and problems to the manager on duty.
- Complete effective handovers between duty shifts.
- Follow hotel policies, procedures, and service standards.
- Maintain knowledge of hotel facilities and current hotel happenings.
- Promote good public relations while meeting or exceeding guest expectations.
Education and experience
- Vocational training in hospitality is preferred.
- Previous Concierge Department experience in a hotel is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills are essential.
- Strong interpersonal abilities are essential.
- Computer knowledge and additional language skills are advantageous.
Knowledge and competencies
- Customer-focused, proactive, outgoing, charismatic, and approachable.
- Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Works effectively as a team player in a multicultural team of colleagues and guests.
- Demonstrates responsibility, adaptability, customer focus, and recognition of differences.
