Full-time, on-site Document Controller role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Manage project documentation and records in line with company standards and client requirements.
Responsibilities
- Receive, review, and distribute documents while maintaining version control.
- Maintain accurate electronic and hard-copy filing systems.
- Coordinate document status with project teams and update document registers.
- Ensure timely submissions to internal and external stakeholders.
- Support quality-procedure compliance, assist with audits, and report on document progress and outstanding items.
Qualifications and experience
- Previous experience in document control or an administrative role; engineering, construction, or industrial project experience is preferred.
- Experience creating, reviewing, tracking, and archiving technical and project-related documents.
- Proficiency with document-control software, MS Office, and shared platforms for version control and tracking.
- Experience with Aconex or similar document portals and with main-contractor submission and Grade A PMO consultant processes.
- Strong communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills; able to work to deadlines in a fast-paced project environment.
- Knowledge of document-control standards and quality management procedures is advantageous.
- A relevant diploma or bachelor’s degree, such as in Business Administration or Information Management, is preferred.
