About The Role

Key Responsibilities

• Define and lead the overall interior design vision and creative strategy across all Amali developments, ensuring alignment with the brand’s luxury positioning and customer experience objectives.
• Establish and maintain interior design standards, design governance frameworks, and best practices across the portfolio.
• Oversee concept development, schematic design, detailed design, FF&E strategy, material selection, and project execution for ultra-luxury villas, mansions, waterfront residences, and branded developments.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the Interior Design team while managing external consultants, design houses, FF&E specialists, and suppliers.
• Review and approve all major design deliverables including layouts, mood boards, material palettes, 3D visualizations, technical drawings, and design presentations.
• Drive FF&E strategy including sourcing, specification, supplier selection, procurement alignment, and quality standards to ensure exceptional customer experiences.
• Collaborate closely with Architecture, Development, Commercial, Procurement, Sales, Marketing, and Project Delivery teams to ensure seamless integration of design objectives across projects.
• Conduct executive design reviews and site inspections to ensure project execution aligns with approved design intent and quality expectations.
• Lead value engineering discussions while preserving design integrity and maintaining the luxury positioning of each development.
• Stay ahead of global luxury design trends, emerging materials, sustainability initiatives, innovative technologies, and customer lifestyle preferences.
• Manage project priorities, design resources, consultant performance, and design governance to ensure timely delivery of all design milestones.
• Represent the Interior Design function in executive reviews, stakeholder presentations, industry engagements, and strategic business discussions.

Experience & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• 15+ years of experience in ultra-luxury residential, palace, mansion, branded residence, or high-end hospitality design, ideally within the UAE or GCC.
• Proven experience leading interior design functions, managing multidisciplinary teams, and overseeing complex luxury developments.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional design leadership, creativity, technical expertise, and successful delivery of luxury interior projects.
• Extensive experience managing design consultants, FF&E specialists, vendors, and international luxury brands.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, 3ds Max, or equivalent design and visualization tools.
• Deep understanding of luxury materials, finishes, FF&E procurement, design detailing, and construction coordination.
• Excellent communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to balance creative excellence, project budgets, and delivery requirements.
