Lead digital solutions architecture for secure, scalable networked customer solutions across a varied project portfolio.
Work across sales, product/technology, and programme delivery to turn requirements into costable, implementable, and supportable architecture.
Responsibilities
- Lead design of digital network and infrastructure solutions aligned with customer needs and internal standards.
- Support bids, tenders, and pursuits with pre-sales architecture, technical documentation, solution direction, and scope clarity.
- Translate requirements into architecture baselines, scope statements, implementation plans, and deployment prerequisites.
- Create high-level network, concept, and solution diagrams; define virtual machine and hardware requirements for solution needs and costing.
- Support delivery through diagrams, routing/configuration planning, solution-related ticketing, and deployment-aligned cybersecurity documentation.
- Resolve design and quality issues with engineering stakeholders; monitor deployed solution performance and identify gaps and improvements.
- Standardise documentation, create reusable templates, and build supplier relationships while evaluating technologies and products.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or similar.
- Strong solution architecture and network design experience in enterprise IT environments.
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP, and real-world network behaviour.
- Strong documentation capability and clear architecture-pack production.
- Confident communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
- Working knowledge of security best practices, privacy, and compliance expectations.
- MS Office and Visio/AutoCAD exposure preferred; SAP is a plus.
