Coordinate and supervise building construction site activities to meet approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, budget, and schedule.
The client is a UAE-based construction company delivering residential, commercial, retail, hospitality, and other building projects, including civil, structural, and architectural works.
Site delivery and coordination
- Review drawings and assess material, manpower, and equipment requirements; coordinate requests with Procurement.
- Monitor progress against the approved programme, report delays or discrepancies, and recommend corrective actions.
- Supervise daily work and coordinate workers, subcontractors, and site teams.
- Liaise with site management, consultants, and subcontractors about progress, technical issues, drawing changes, and manpower.
- Coordinate QA/QC inspections and ensure work meets approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Monitor subcontractor performance for safety, schedule, and quality.
- Close out consultant and authority snag lists and ensure corrective work is completed on time.
- Support project completion, handover, demobilization, reports, and documentation.
People management
- Guide and motivate site personnel and subcontractors to maintain productivity, quality, and adherence to project requirements.
- Support the development of junior engineers and site team members.
Skills and experience
- 3–5 years of building construction or general construction experience.
- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering.
- Experience in site supervision, construction coordination, and subcontractor management.
- Good understanding of construction drawings, quality requirements, and project programmes.
