Digital Pre-Sales & Delivery Integration Engineer

Role overview

Pre-sales and pursuits

• Serve as the technical point of contact for integration questions during bids, tenders, and pursuits.
• Join customer workshops and discovery sessions to identify actual requirements.
• Translate requirements into high-level integration architecture, diagrams, and a clear scope narrative.
• Identify assumptions, dependencies, exclusions, and risks early.
• Evaluate third-party platforms and interfaces for feasibility.
• Support tender submissions with technical content, drawings, scope statements, and implementation approaches.

Delivery and programs support

• Help programs define scope and implementation documentation for digital solutions.
• Produce diagrams showing integration points and support technical customer discussions during design and delivery.
• Coordinate with third parties when additional software or hardware is needed for turnkey delivery.
• Support solution-related tickets and contribute to cybersecurity documentation.
• Work with engineering and R&D on integration issues requiring product fixes or enhancements.
• Peer-review network drawings, architecture, and plans.

Feedback and support

• Monitor deployed solutions and identify what is working, failing, or changing.
• Feed customer and regulatory requirements back to product teams.
• Build relationships with customers, stakeholders, and third-party suppliers or integrators.
• Support market research and evaluation of technologies that may strengthen the solution set.

Required background

• Vendor or consultancy background, with experience shaping customer solutions, supporting pursuits, and backing delivery.
• Strong, credible, structured experience in solution design or integration architecture.
• Customer-facing capability, including workshops, discovery, stakeholder management, and influencing without authority.
• Solid grounding in IT and network fundamentals and interfaces such as TCP/IP, UDP, and HTTP.
• Ability to produce clear diagrams, scope statements, and implementation plans.

Additional useful experience

• Systems integrator experience is a plus, but is secondary.
• Security operations exposure and comfort contributing to security or privacy documentation are nice to have.
• Visio or AutoCAD (or similar), strong MS Office skills, SAP familiarity, and cross-functional project delivery experience are nice to have.
