Devops Engineer, Senior

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Gather platform requirements from clients and stakeholders and understand digital transformation and automation goals.
• Present and document CI/CD capabilities, including agent pool management, environment provisioning, and enterprise pipeline design.
• Create reusable pipeline templates and secure shared libraries in Azure DevOps Server.
• Enforce branching strategies, optimize build runner performance, and maintain Linux-based runner systems.
• Manage third-party libraries and integrate Fortify SCA and automated testing frameworks.
• Conduct workshops for GitOps delivery and workload promotion with Argo CD to OpenShift and Kubernetes.
• Integrate monitoring hooks and drive production deployment patterns using AppDynamics, BMC, and Azure Monitoring.
• Participate in Agile development and release processes and stay current with infrastructure delivery trends.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
• 6-10 or more years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or enterprise build and release automation.
• Hands-on production delivery experience, including scaling live environments.
• Experience in government, heavily regulated, or complex enterprise sectors is preferred.

Technical Skills

• CI/CD pipeline engineering, secure pipeline patterns, agent pool configuration, and advanced branching strategies.
• Docker, Kubernetes, and Red Hat OpenShift.
• Terraform, Ansible, Linux administration, and systems scripting.
• JFrog Artifactory, binary artifact handling, and third-party dependency management.
• Fortify SCA, HashiCorp Vault, Sigstore, and SecurEnvoy MFA verification setups.
• Enterprise CI/CD templates, multi-agent pool management, GitOps delivery, and production monitoring hooks.
