Devops Engineer, Senior

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Gather client and stakeholder platform requirements and automation goals.
• Present and document CI/CD capabilities, including agent pools, environment provisioning, and enterprise pipeline design.
• Create reusable pipeline templates and secure shared libraries in Azure DevOps Server.
• Enforce branching strategies, optimize build runners, and maintain Linux-based runner systems.
• Manage third-party libraries, integrate Fortify SCA, and embed automated testing frameworks.
• Conduct GitOps delivery and workload-promotion workshops using Argo CD on OpenShift and Kubernetes.
• Integrate monitoring hooks and production deployment patterns using AppDynamics, BMC, or Azure Monitoring.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
• 6–10+ years of professional DevOps, SRE, or enterprise build and release automation experience.
• Hands-on production delivery experience, including scaling live environments.
• Government, regulated-sector, or complex enterprise experience is highly preferred.

Technical Skills

• Deep CI/CD pipeline engineering, secure pipeline design, agent pool configuration, and branching strategy expertise.
• Hands-on Docker, Kubernetes, and Red Hat OpenShift experience.
• Infrastructure automation using Terraform, Ansible, Linux administration, and systems scripting.
• Enterprise artifact and dependency management using JFrog Artifactory.
• Secure application pipeline capabilities using Fortify SCA, HashiCorp Vault, and MFA verification setups.

Delivery Competencies

• Enterprise CI/CD template design and multi-agent pool management.
• GitOps continuous delivery into live production environments.
• CI/CD and automated testing integration with OpenText security validation.
• Third-party library compliance and secure artifact storage.
• Production-level application profiling, monitoring hook setup, and documentation authorship.
