OutSystems Developer, Senior Tech Lead

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor developers; conduct code reviews and establish standards and best practices.
• Design scalable, secure OutSystems Reactive Web and Mobile applications using 4-Layer Architecture.
• Architect integrations with systems, databases, REST/SOAP APIs, Creatio CRM, and .NET backends.
• Oversee delivery, code quality, performance, and CI/CD deployments using Service Studio and LifeTime.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and UI/UX designers on technical specifications and estimates.
• Resolve technical blockers, performance bottlenecks, and critical production issues.
• Apply access control, data encryption, and OWASP Top 10 mitigation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 6+ years of software development experience, including 4+ years building enterprise applications with OutSystems.
• Experience leading technical teams or working as a Tech Lead/Architect in an Agile environment.
• Expertise in OutSystems tools, architecture patterns, refactoring, and database modeling.
• Strong SQL Server or Oracle database design, stored procedure, and optimization skills; good grasp of .NET (C#) for custom extensions.
• Understanding of Scrum; comfortable using Jira and Confluence.
• Strong analytical, mentorship, and stakeholder communication skills.

Technical expertise

• OutSystems Service Studio, Integration Studio, Service Center, and LifeTime.
• Reactive Web and Mobile; REST/SOAP APIs; SQL Server or Oracle.
• CI/CD, security controls, database modeling, and performance optimization.
