The role is full-time and based in person.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef with daily kitchen operations.
- Prepare food to established recipes, quality standards, and portion requirements; ensure appropriate cooking, presentation, and storage.
- Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and kitchen safety; follow food handling, storage, and temperature-control procedures.
- Prepare mise en place, monitor stock, report shortages or quality concerns, and support busy service periods.
- Keep work areas, equipment, and storage clean; follow company policies and senior kitchen staff instructions.
Requirements
- Previous Demi Chef or similar kitchen experience, including experience in a restaurant, café, or hospitality environment.
- Good knowledge of food preparation, basic cooking techniques, and food safety and hygiene standards.
- Work efficiently under pressure; demonstrate teamwork and communication skills.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Candidates currently in the UAE are preferred.
Compensation and benefits
- Pay is AED 4,000–4,500 per month.
