Full-time, on-site Demi Chef de Partie position based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Supports the Chef de Partie with preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes to high quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Follow established recipes and food safety guidelines.
- Assist with mise en place, kitchen cleanliness, and workstation organization.
- Maintain consistent portioning and presentation.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team and communicate clearly during service.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory and ordering as needed.
- Contribute to menu execution and maintain hygiene and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Strong culinary skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and basic pastry or bakery work.
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and proper ingredient storage, labeling, and handling.
- Professional kitchen experience in a fast-paced environment; able to manage time, multitask, and prioritize.
- Teamwork and communication skills for collaboration with kitchen and front-of-house colleagues.
- Able to follow recipes, show initiative and creativity, and learn new techniques and cuisines.
- A relevant culinary diploma, certification, or completed apprenticeship is preferred; prior Commis Chef or Demi Chef de Partie experience is an advantage.
- Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and holidays; reliable and punctual.
- Professional appearance and conduct, customer-focused mindset, and passion for high-quality dining.
