Role Description

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Supervise wait staff.
• Manage table assignments and reservations.
• Coordinate with the kitchen and bar to ensure timely service.
• Handle guest requests or concerns in a professional manner.
• Train and mentor team members.
• Support menu knowledge and upselling.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation standards.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures.

Qualifications

• Strong customer-focused mindset with proven experience in Customer Service and guest-facing hospitality roles.
• Solid understanding of Food & Beverage offerings, including menu knowledge, pairing suggestions, and quality standards.
• Hands-on experience in Food Service operations, such as table management, order taking, and coordination between front and back of house.
• Excellent Communication skills, including clear verbal communication, active listening, and the ability to handle guest feedback professionally.
• Basic familiarity with Cooking or kitchen processes to coordinate effectively with culinary teams and understand preparation times.
• Previous experience in a supervisory or lead waiter role in restaurants, hotels, or similar hospitality environments.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by operational needs.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm and efficient in a fast-paced environment.
• Working proficiency in English; additional languages commonly used in Dubai are an advantage.
• Formal hospitality training or certification is beneficial but not mandatory; a passion for service and guest satisfaction is essential.
