Demand forecasting and planning
- Develop and maintain short-, medium-, and long-term forecasts using historical data, market trends, and commercial-team input.
- Monitor forecast accuracy and continuously improve forecasting models, tools, and methodologies.
- Analyze demand variations and share insights on trends, risks, and opportunities.
Collaboration and supply alignment
- Work with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to ensure forecasts reflect market realities.
- Lead monthly Demand Review meetings as part of the S&OP process.
- Align demand plans with inventory, production, and procurement strategies.
- Integrate demand plans into inventory and production plans to meet service levels without overstocking or understocking.
- Partner with supply planners and procurement to adjust plans for demand shifts or supply constraints.
- Identify slow-moving or obsolete inventory and recommend mitigation actions.
Analysis and systems
- Maintain dashboards for forecast accuracy, inventory health, and demand trends.
- Conduct scenario analysis and provide actionable insights for business decisions.
- Manage demand planning software and ERP systems to improve visibility and control.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in demand planning, supply chain management, or related roles.
- Arabic and English language skills.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, excellent communication, and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
- Advanced Excel skills.
