Lead the physical and chemical laboratories of a plant quality assurance section at an industrial company.
The role is responsible for supervision of the physical and chemical laboratories.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise the physical and chemical laboratories.
- Control quality control parameters according to QC standards.
- Calibrate laboratory equipment.
- Support ISO activities related to the QC department.
- Supervise and maintain the daily work schedule and monthly evaluation reports.
- Lead chemists, physical analysts, and laboratory labor.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience as a Senior Chemist in a modern cement plant.
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry.
- Excellent command of chemical analysis.
- Full knowledge of quality control equipment used in the cement industry and good knowledge of instruments and their calibration.
- Ability to work under pressure and in demanding work conditions.
Work conditions
- Approximately 50% of the work is office-based and 50% is field work.
- Work takes place in laboratories with different chemicals and instruments using radiation sources for analysis.
- Field attendance and work beyond duty hours may be required as work demands.
