Supports Delivery Service Centre clerical activities and regional Routing and Transportation teams.
Additional work includes data validation, report creation, data entry, and communications.
Compensation
- The posting lists compensation of $32,100–$60,300 without specifying a pay period.
Operations and coordination
- Organize workflow across the Delivery Service Centre, Syntellic, Sysco Transportation System, Verizon, and Roadnet.
- Provide backup routing support at regional sites as needed and clerical support to the Operations team.
- Communicate with sales and operations teams about driver delays and communicate with drivers.
- Coordinate delivery-driver relief and prepare operational communications, including dispatching times.
Data, reporting, and safety
- Validate and enter data, generate reports, and track KPIs for the Delivery Service Centre and Transportation team.
- Assist with safety reporting and investigations.
- Work safely, minimize environmental impact, report hazards and incidents promptly, and follow food safety procedures.
- Speak up about hazards affecting personal or colleague safety.
Qualifications
- At least one year of distribution-environment experience and exposure to operations systems.
- Bilingual English and French ability is required for internal and external communications.
- High school diploma and intermediate Microsoft Suite proficiency.
